1. Klustron (formerly KunlunBase) Cluster Installation and Usage Guide
If your installation environment can connect to the internet, it is recommended to use the one-click installation tool to initialize the servers and install the Klustron cluster with a single click.
If you need to download the Klustron installation package first and then perform an offline installation on servers that are not connected to the internet, please follow the instructions in the Klustron Cluster Installation Guide to initialize the servers and quickly install a Klustron cluster.
Installing a Klustron cluster on a group of computer servers involves two major steps. First, initialize the (bootstrap) database server. This step installs Klustron components on each computer server, ensures that these components can work together, and configures and starts the components responsible for cluster management. Each database server only needs to be bootstrapped once. When expanding the Klustron cluster later, you will also need to initialize the new servers first and then use XPanel to scale out.
After the database servers are initialized, users can install and manage the Klustron cluster using XPanel。
Klustron requires several third-party tools, including HDFS for storing backup files and ElasticSearch, FileBeat, and Kibana for storing node log files. Users need to pre-install these tools separately on the database servers and set their connection methods in the parameter file during server initialization.
We provide simple installation and usage guides for these third-party tools. For complete tutorials, please refer to the technical documentation of these tools.
